Review: Buzz Lightyear Toy Story Collection edition

Ever since the 1995 release of Toy Story by Disney/Pixar, various companies have tried to replicate the actual movie version of Buzz Lightyear, and each one has failed miserably. If they got the size correct, something was horribly wrong with the features (meaning, nothing worked like it did in the film). And if they got the features correct, then you can pretty much bet that the toy looked horribly disfigured (silly is a good word to describe them) or the size was just insanely miniature. So it’s with much joy that I report to you (like I have in the past a few times), that Disney finally came to their senses and is now selling a Buzz Lightyear action figure toy that is true to the film as part of their new Toy Story Collection (made by Thinkway Toys).

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know that I’m a huge Buzz Lightyear fan and I’ve been waiting what seems like forever for a true Buzz Lightyear toy to come out so that I can be just like Andy in the film. Disney saw my enthusiasm for the new Toy Story Collection and graciously sent over a unit for me to play with. I am convinced that this is the toy that should have been made in the first place and I’m only left wondering why it took so long for Disney to get it all right.

Just like Buzz Lightyear in the movie, this Buzz Lightyear toy is made from mostly plastic parts and he comes packaged in an authentic spaceship box. His face is modeled directly from the animation files used in the film which means that he looks exactly like the actual movie Buzz (chin swirl and all). He’s also got full movement in his entire body and extremities and posing him is pretty entertaining. His torso is made of a soft black tube that allows him to swivel his body back and forth and round and round which is very nice given the static positions of previous Buzz Lightyear toys.

If you look at his fingers, Buzz has 8 independently moving fingers (thumbs don’t move) and all of his joints — knees, elbows, hips, shoulders, ankles, etc. — can be positioned and locked in whatever way you want (right now, Buzz is standing on my desk with one arm raised in the air as if giving a high five).

The coolest part about Buzz is his big red button which causes his wings to swing out just like they do in the movie. If you want to put the wings back, you just tuck them away (I guess asking for a self-folding wing span would have been too crazy). At the tips of each wing are a light that blinks red and green. Like I said, this toy is just like Buzz in the movie so you can bet he’s got a working “laser” (red blinking light) and voice-command buttons on his chest. Oh, and his helmet swooshes back (not automatically unfortunately).

The Toy Story Collection Buzz Lightyear is approximately 12″ tall and weighs about 3 pounds, so it’s no small toy. If you buy one, it’ll come with a certificate of authenticity signed by John Lasseter. The original price for one is $65, but act now and you’ll be able to get one at toy r us for Rm 365 and jusco but toy world marketing is cheaper Rm 265 In KL is worth it for me to go there and get this dude here are some image enjoy!

本当に申し訳ない

I know what comes to your mind first, you may think that the word "sorry" is not applying now. BUT seriously I'm sorry for what I've put you guys through, each and everyone of my friends and enemies.
I'm still learning to be a better person, learning to be more mature and STILL learning to be a better friend. Perhaps sometimes what I've said might trigger your anger and pissed you off to the very extend that you feel like killing me but let me be honest, you can confront me anytime. I will not run away from my mistakes and I will not deny.
If I have done anything wrong, seriously just tell me. I'll see what I can do with my mistakes and see what I can do to make it up to you, but you have to know I'm just an ordinary human being just like anyone of you. Everyone make mistakes including yourself. I don't mind what you've done to me, as I also understand that you are also a human. Honesty is what I prefer these days as it will not make matters worse and instead will make it less complicated.
I am very thankful for those who were willing to tell me what my mistakes are and helped me walked through it together. Friends or enemies are no longer the point anymore in my life. I may be a jerk most of the time, but I can also be someone who can help you out. Please remember that.
As for why the sudden emerge of this topic, it is because of stressful assignments, tests and presentations all due next week. Sometimes when I'm too stress, I will tell out my inner feelings.

sorry for my english lol. The truth is why i lie cuz there ppl backstab me n i duno who they are. n facebook is best place to lie mostly i think is my online friend trying to kick me out of the clan cuz they jealus of me getting vote for leadership. so i think lie is best way so that day was last year holiday i think of making fake account to just simply fool every1 i put same password for all 6 account to make it easy to hack i naver put short pw b4 in my life usual my password was very long there ppl who know that ethan, brian this 2 person who know. why i did it cuz of ppl backstab me n i dont like it i know that if i lie i need to risk every1 of my friend 1 big lie can solve my problem to be honest i dont want a leadership but the boss choose me. after the hacker hack me this is part when all the good n bad show up i got kick out of the clan cuz of my 1 big lie this is time when i can see everything the people who try to steal my leadership n there ppl who trying to help me n today these who is still loyal to me get to stay n these who has backstab me n blackmail me out u go. of cuz i cant get leadership anymore n there will be reward to these who are still loyal to the clan leader n i. i apologise to ppl who i lie to.. i been in this game for 5 year already... i naver do anything wrong i been loyal to the clan i m cleaning the house n change forum n password pls get more info from senior member ur viceprisident Red Cometz
